Who is Shraddha Joshi?
Shraddha Joshi Sharma, an IRS officer from the 2007 batch, is currently serving as the Managing Director of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) in Mumbai, she was born on March 5, 1979, in Almora, Uttar Pradesh.
She is married to our hero, Manoj Kumar Sharma! But she is no damsel in distress as she works equally as hard as her husband. Having completed her schooling in Almora, she pursued a Bachelor’s in Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery at Gurukula Kangri, Haridwar.
Following her studies, Joshi practiced as a doctor in a Uttarakhand hospital. However, she altered her career path, opting to prepare for the UPSC exam. Looking at her patients fighting domestic abuse and whatnot, she decided that she wanted the power to protect people from all these immoral acts!

So, our two inspiring love birds first met at a coaching center where Shraddha had just arrived in 2003! The wife of the head of the coaching institution, Drishti IAS told Shraddha to get a clarification on Hindi literature from Manoj! Yes, she first met him to get clarity on the subject.
But that’s not all! Shraddha was instantly in awe of Manoj when she came to know that he had cleared his preliminary exam without any coaching. She was inspired by him and felt that it was truly magical for a person to be so humble after cracking preliminary exams without any support. In 2003, when Manoj and Shraddha started studying together, Shraddha started going to him more often to get better at the preparation just like him. One time, Manoj was appreciated in front of the entire class by their teacher because of the way he had attempted his exam.
The teacher applauded him for it and Shraddha felt herself getting more attracted to Manoj’s personality at that point. When Manoj asked her what her name was she simply replied, “Shraddha.” And that’s when Manoj felt that her name carried a lot of strength and started feeling a magnetic attraction toward her.

This concern turned to jealousy and finally to rivalry. He hated the fact that Manoj was ruining everything just for a girl and she might even leave him because he had nothing back then.
